Goodbye, The Luxe Nomad: 5 Things to Know About Our New Chapter

A shorter name, a striking new identity and a doorway to infinite journeys. Here are five things to know about Luxe Nomad’s rebrand.

You may have noticed something different about us. Yes, you’re not imagining it: The Luxe Nomad is now simply Luxe Nomad. A shorter name, a lot more on offer.

Of course, dropping three letters is the easy part. Getting everything else just right? That took a little more thought and time. From typography to colours and emblems, no detail went undebated (and believe us, there were plenty of debates). Our Global Head of Marketing Chris Skinner even went through 50 shades of blue to find the one (it’s called Night Sky Blue if you’re that interested).

What hasn’t changed? Our love for extraordinary places and finding equally unique properties to call home for the holidays. What has? A bigger vision for what a luxury stay should feel like.

Here are five things to know about the new Luxe Nomad.

1. We’ve dropped ‘The’ for good

The Luxe Nomad is now simply Luxe Nomad. Why? That’s what everyone calls us anyway so we decided it was time to make it official.

Over the course of the year, we realised dropping three letters is more complicated than it sounds. There’s a new website, updated signage, hundreds of brand touchpoints and a domain name that cost more than we’d hoped.

That said, our shorter name reflects our shared ambition: to build a luxury hospitality brand that travellers recognise, remember and trust.

2. Over 100 properties, one name you can trust

Since Stephanie Chai founded Luxe Nomad in 2012, we’ve grown to manage more than 100 properties and 1,400 rooms across Japan, Indonesia and Thailand.

Now, our managed properties will carry the Luxe Nomad name, too. From ski-in, ski-out residences in Niseko to clifftop villas in Bali and beachfront estates in Koh Samui, every property has its own personality, and we’d like to keep it that way.

What we’re bringing together isn’t the uniform architecture or the same body soap in the showers. It’s the confidence that wherever you stay, the quality, care and attention to detail will feel unmistakably Luxe Nomad.

3. A new look with a doorway to infinite journeys

Meet our new visual identity: refined gold, vibrant coral and majestic blue make up our colour palette, plus there’s a distinctive doorway emblem.

Choosing our brand colours was a fun one — our team went through more shades of blue to find the right one called Night Sky Blue. Apparently, there’s a fine line between sophisticated midnight and slightly-too-serious navy.

The doorway emblem represents something close to our hearts: infinite journeys. For us, a door doesn’t just open an entrance to a villa. It opens onto new places, unexpected experiences and memories that will surely outlast your tan.

You’ll start seeing our new visual identity everywhere, from villa signage and uniforms to your room key and our digital platforms.

4. Different luxury properties, the same thoughtful care

Some of our properties in Niseko have a private onsen. One villa in Bali has a spiral silver pool slide. There’s even a villa estate in Samui with its own Muay Thai ring.

We love these differences, but what we don’t love is the uncertainty that can sometimes come with booking a private vacation rental. Beautiful photographs are everywhere but knowing whether the experience will live up to them? Not always the case.

That’s what we’re setting out to change.

Every Luxe Nomad property is carefully selected, with hotel-grade amenities, dedicated teams on the ground, and thoughtful Luxe Concierge service behind the scenes. The aim isn’t to make every stay identical. It’s to make the quality of every stay something you can really count on.

5. A new digital home and more reasons to keep exploring with us

Our new website, luxenomad.com, has been redesigned to make discovering and booking your next stay easier.

More than just a booking engine, you’ll also find destination guides filled with local insights, because choosing a place to stay is just the beginning. Knowing where to find the neighbourhood’s best coffee, a brilliant dinner or a lesser-known jewellery boutique is what makes the journey complete.

Across Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn, we’ll continue to bring you dispatches from our Luxe Nomad tribe, conversations with creative locals and glimpses of the places and people that make each destination special to us. Stay tuned for more inspirational stories here on WanderLuxe, as well as in our reimagined Luxe Nomad magazine coming in December.
